Welcome to the new RCC MOPS Web site!

Welcome to MOPS at Rossville Christian Church. We are so thankful that you've been a part of this "Adventure!" It truly has been a blessing for me. As you know the theme this year is "Adventures In Mothering." We have some great things planned for the year. We've already experienced many different topics. At our first meeting we met our steering team by us sharing our "favorites." We have also had many laughs with Anita Renfroe in her comedy act of motherhood. I think I had tears from laughing!

Jenn Gentry, our creative coordinator, got us creative and organized (well, supposed to be organized) by showing us how to make organizers and flower pot organizers. Last month we got to make some yummy breakfast burritos and learned the difference between being entertaining and hospitality from Lisa Ingram. My burritos lasted only a few days!

I hope that you are getting to know your fellow "MOPS" from the area. It is so encouraging to know that someone else is on your team and can relate to what you're going through. Whether it's problems with potty training or a hard time with your spouse, our hope is that we can share our burdens together. But more importantly, we have to share our burdens with the Lord. He says in His Word, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:30) We must rely on Him when times are tiring, tough, and uncertain.

Again, welcome to the Adventure of MOPS. Sit back, hold on, and enjoy your time here! Please let us know if we can do anything for you or if you have a need of ANY kind! God bless you and your families!

Better moms make a better world!
Melissa Dannefer, MOPS Coordinator
